The game crashed when he quick me of the game, and he dosen't want to work. What do i ave to do for the game to work (the ignore button dosen't work) i want to play the game so please help me !
Thank you for giving a screenshot! This helps me with troubleshooting. I think I need to double check my code and release a new version of the game. This might take me two days to fix. I'll reply back when a new version of the game is available with the fix.
I've uploaded the new version of the game! (v1.0.3). You'll need to redownload it. Unfortunately, you will have to play the whole game again. But the bug should be fixed!
Make sure to delete the old game and unzip the new game!
Hi there! Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! These are all the instructions I have for Mac, but I don't have screenshots to go with it I'm sorry! I hope maybe this might help!
I finished this game and all I can say is.. AMAZING! You nailed this. The art, the story, the way the characters act. Usually I don't like games like these, but I thought I'd try. Boy am I glad I did. This has been the most enjoyable VN I have ever played! I really hope to see more and more of your work in the future. I loved it, every character seems to not be ooc and I was relieved to see that to be honest. Usually people don't capture the characters too well. This game surprised me a lot, good job!
You honestly nailed the writing, it's like it was written by Tobyfox because it was so believeable, logical and you really captured the romantic bonds, honestly this is not only the best Undertale fangame I've ever played with but also the best fanmade VN I've ever played with. I can feel you put your heart into this project and while doing that you also sticked to the source-material and did not make any non-cannon scene into this game, for example I don't know where but I heard this "Super secret codeword" somewhere, like probably it's in the original game I don't really remember tbh it's been a while but I remember that talk with Sans and the fact that you used it in this VN is amazing, I hope to see more works from you in the future, and while I'm waiting I will play through all the other VNs you have on your page <3
MY GOD IT HAS BEEN ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES I'VE HAD. The game from where you look at it is beautiful, you can see the love with which it was created, I love how the characters always remained faithful to the canon, it felt like Undertale itself and it was wonderful. It took my heart in one night and it was beautiful, really thank you very much for creating this beautiful game, I would play it again a thousand times and each time it would be just as wonderful. Really, congratulations for creating such a work and thank you very much for brightening up my night so much <3
Wow. All I can say is just wow. I wasnt expecting it would be that great at first. I really enjoied the story and the characters who wasnt just left in the background (I hoped to see Asgore too but it doesnt matter). How you made Sans act was very canon and I loved this. I also loved the thing about Sans defense and the Flowey ending.I wasnt expecting to have the power of reset or to do different routes so when I found out I tried them all. After the happy ending I tried the "genocide" and I found really interesting how Sans doesnt fight you until you reset again and again (probably because of his love for us). I wasnt expecting Chara at all but still liked the way you made them and "this isnt the world I know" really add things to the story itself and connect this fan game to undertale "move to another universe". Another thing I wasnt expecting was the ending of the pacifist after the genocide.. that really hurted so I decided to deleted the game and re-downloaded it to play a pacifist and keeping the promise. (By the way, it really hits when Sans call us with our name in both route and contexts)
In the end I really thank you for your work, that was amazing and I cant wait to see the other things you've done and I am very sorry for my english and grammar since it's not my mother language but I really wanted to add a comment there.
OH MY GOD. WHY WAS THAT SO BEAUTIFUL I JUST FINISHED IT AND IM CRYING? I THOUGHT I WAS OVER UNDERTALE AND SANS BUT I GUESS 11 YEAR OLD ME WAS REBORN. SWEET JESUS I AM JUST. WOW. /pos /gen
I loved this game! It was awesome! This might be one of the best games I have ever played in my life! I actually felt like I was part of it! And I didn't have it to where I was just there with him automatically. I'm happy I was able to just have a nice journey with Sans along the way. The description was incredible too!
I usually don't make reviews but God... This was AMAZING! I had the chance to indulge into the romance at a slow peace (and not throwing myself at him like most games do) and HAVE a romance even if i didn't smooch him for example. The feelings were the most important part! You had "studied" the game, I really felt like it was an Undertale extension! Every character was like themselves and wasn't abandoned during the story!
And the option to reset and the story itself... (≧▽≦) I cannot express how well made it is!
Thank you so much!! I do appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment! I'm really glad you were able to follow your own pace with Dating Start!. That was always my intent, to give everyone the opportunity to have their own experience while playing. Whether it be to dive into smooching right away or take it slow, I wanted players to have that choice.
And I'm glad you felt it was an extension of Undertale! I really wanted to keep it as close to the Undertale spirit as possible! Thank you for playing!
I love this game it was so heartwarming and sweet, such an interesting timeline I got to be in!!! Whenever the game would close on me I literally jumped out of my seat! I'm debating on running through it again, but idk
I just have a quick question, can you break the barrier in Dating Start?
Thank you so much for playing!! I'm glad you enjoyed your journey through this world's timeline.
To answer your question, unfortunately there isn't a way to break the barrier. The only person that can leave the Underground... is you, the player, when you close the game.
Hello! I wanted to make an account and express how much I love this creation!
This is so amazing and insane. It all flows together so well and I love when it really feels like how the undertale characters would deal with the situation as if it was canon. I really love that.
The visuals, music, everything is lovely. Really like the amount of choice and comfort you gave and time/effort into making this. I can't really say how much I've played this now because it would just be too embarrassing. I will say I don't usually like very many fan made games but this felt like it hit the nail so well and your attention to detail and personality is so good!
Question! Do you plan on making more of these undertale games? Anything more with sans?
I've played your other games as well and they were lovely! Very much looking forward to what you try next.
Also, there was one thing I haven't tried.. well.. aside from geno route because I couldn't possibly bring myself to but anyway, what can you do with the butterscotch pie? I keep saving it thinking I can do something later but unsure what.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and thank you for giving my VN a chance! It makes me so happy to know that others enjoyed it so much. And I'm glad you thought it hit the nail on the head! I really did my best to keep it close to the Undertale spirit, but inject my own style into it.
And thank you so much for playing some of my other games! To answer your question, I'm not really sure if I plan to make more Undertale fangames. Of course, I'll never say never! But for right now, I'm definitely enjoying my dev break while I prepare to branch out and explore some other game dev things!
As for the butterscotch cinnamon pie... well... it only has one use. And that's for a certain part of the LOVE/No Love/Geno route. =)
I LITERALLY JUST MADE AN ACCOUNT CUZ I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW THIS GAME MADE ME FEEL. Like I'm prob aromantic BUT I WAS LITERALLY BLUSHING AND SQUEALING AND DAMN WHAT A ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS. Tbh I just expected a dating sim, I wanted to play something fun cuz I'd read such a heartbreaking fanfic in which the skelebros died and needed something to fill that hole. WHEN I TELL YOU I'M SO SHOCKED RN IT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL, WHOLESOME, EVERYTHING POSITIVE. As a writer myself everything is just so well written and SO SO beautiful. The music, the art, everything. Even the accessibility for disabled people! Everything is made with so much love and care and also I really appreciate that the characters don't use gendered words on you. When I tried all the options with sans (confessing your love, saying you're happy to be friends, and not saying anything) and then FLOWEY PROCEEDED TO LAUGH AT ME FOR TRYING EVERYTHING. When I reset and the whole bridge thing and stars events happened I'm telling you I was screaming and blushing and kicking my feet. I think because of my aromanticism I had a different approach to the game that made it even more meaningful. Some people may have jumped to kiss Sans but I loved just making puns and watching our relationship progress over the game. It wasn't until the scene in the last hall that I confessed to loving him! And I didn't even kiss him then, just put our foreheads together. I loved the intimacy and sweetness of it all. I was curious so after I finished I decided to enter the game again! When Sans looked at me and told me to do whatever I wanted with that disappointed and sad face I'm telling you my heart broke. There's no way I'm resetting or killing my baby just to get the other pics and endings. Like, I just can't. I literally sent so many texts to my friend while playing this that she'll probably block me. WHEN HE TOLD ME TO TAKE CARE, WITH MY NAME, AND THAT HE WANTED TO BE MY SOULMATE- HELP I WAS GONNA PASS OUT. I don't even know who you are, creator of this game, but I freaking love you for creating this masterpiece and I'll remember you till the day I die. Seriously, if I ever need comfort or something I'll deleted my saved file and play it again. It was so beautiful from start to finish. Thank you, really
It means so much that you made an account just to comment! I'm really happy to hear that the emotions reached you. :) I know you understand this as a writer, but I wanted to pour out all my emotions onto the page (so to speak). And if anyone could feel even a drop of what I had felt while writing it, that's more than enough for me.
I wrote and programmed this visual novel so that people could pick the level of affection they were most comfortable with. So if people were ready to kiss him right from the start, they had the option. But people that wanted to wait until the end to kiss him had the option, too. And then, of course, you didn't have to kiss him at all and just share that bond and emotions with him platonically. I wanted to have both a romantic SOULmates and a platonic SOULmates ending. So, in that way, everyone's experience would be their own. And I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your playthrough so much. :)
Thank you for giving my VN a chance and for taking the time to leave a comment. :)
I found this game about 10 months ago and it inspired me to start playing more games on this site. It's still my favorite of all of them I've played so far! Would give 5 stars if I could rate it! (I still listen to the soundtrack and ambiance but I try not to reset if I can help it now lol. I played all the routes and saved some of the art. Makes me happy.)
I'm glad that even after all that time, you still remember it and consider it one of your faves. :) And I'm happy it makes you happy! Thank you so much for playing and for taking the time to leave a comment.
I'll try to troubleshoot, though I don't have a Mac. May I have a screenshot of the error you're getting? Are you downloading this on the itch.io app or via the itch.io website itself?
Thank you for clarifying! I believe the visual novel is actually incompatible on the itch.io app. Can you try downloading it via the actual itch.io website and launching the file that way?
Hi! I'm sorry to hear that. I don't have a Linux PC, but I'll try my best to troubleshoot! What exactly is the error you're getting? Do you have a screenshot of it?
This looks like it's via the itch.io app, correct? Can you try downloading the VN via the itch.io website instead and launching that file? I'm not sure if the VN is compatible on the itch.io app.
This game is amazing I loved it I'm not really a simple type of guy but this got me the arts beautiful and the endings are so good and emotional (I don't really wanna go for the no love ending cause of how sad I'm gonna get) but this was amazing a good way to spend almost 5 hours :3
Thank you so much for playing and for taking the time to comment! I'm glad you gave it a chance! And I'm happy that you enjoyed it and that the emotions reached you! ^^
I'm reading the comments and actually relating to them. I was never like, a fan of shipping or fangirls or anything but damn. this game is long, creative, beautiful, has a beautiful story, and I actually almost cry at the end. I dont even know what to say, it has become one of my favorite games of all time.
so thank you for making this, you are wonderful!
edit: had to verify my email :P
also, what is the fourth photo of the album? im pretty sure I already played through the whole game
Thank YOU so much for playing! :D I'm always very happy to hear when those who aren't really fans of shipping/fangirls enjoyed the game. It really means a lot that you decided to try it! At the end of the day, I hoped to tell a story that could reach all fans of Undertale, should they choose to play it.
!! SPOILERS, just in case!
The fourth photo is actually from the Sans fight during the No Love (True LOVE) route. It's basically from the bad ending if you keep the knife and decide to use it... =)
huh, I'm pretty sure I already made this ending, but I will (unfortunately, it's sad and difficult :(( ) make it again to make sure, thanks !! very grateful from your reply :))
i made an account just to express how much i loved this, you may have heard this a lot already but this game made me so happy,i'll make sure to play all the other ones, thank you for making so much effort into making these,i hope we'll get to see more great things from you!
Thank you for playing and for taking the time to make an account to leave a comment! It really means so much that you enjoyed my little love letter to this series and this character.
the game is fun and awesome. im really sad it ended but i enjoyed it. thank you for putting so much effort in this game. hope you make a lot of games like this one. have a nice day and again thank you, you really made me happy.
Hellooo just to say I loved this game, I did the True love ending but I wanted to do it all again, repeat the good ending, but I can't bring myself to reset after that beautiful fairytale ending. I tried to get a clean state but I wasn't able to do it :(. Could you please help me? I followed your instructions but it didn't work.
Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you thought of it as a fairytale ending! That's exactly the kind of feeling I was going for here, in an Undertale sort of way. :)
11/10 i really love this VN, it manage to make me laugh, sad, happy, and even a bit of crying... You did a VERY splendid job on making this game. Looking forward for your new games!!!
Hii, I was wondering if you know how to delete all previous data and begin from a new slate but on a Mac? I've tried just deleting them from my files and the bin, but it still keeps my old data. Btw I've played both of your games and have really adored them 🥺
Ok so I played this game a long, long time ago, made genocide route and all, but I REALLY want to replay it from scratch, is there any way to detele all my saves from previous routes? ;-;
God, I can really feel the sheer amount of love (definitely not LOVE) and time and effort you poured into creating this game. All the details, all the callbacks, the quality of the writing, the really genuine and heartfelt exploration of what it might look like for canon Sans to fall in love. I'm not a big Sans shipper, but do love the character in general. I went in expecting a few good laughs about dating funny sad skeleton man, came out the other end of the True Love route having cried multiple times. I've had the window open on the The End screen for about an hour just listening to the water noises, thinking about Sans and his soulmate laying down to rest together beneath the Underground's 'stars'.
I'm curious about the Secret Route, but I have no idea where I'd remotely begin trying to get there, so I think I may leave it here. I'm not sure I have the heart to put poor Sans through anything else, haha.
This is without a doubt the best fan game I've ever played. Thank you for giving us all the privilege of being able to enjoy this.
I'm happy the emotions reached you! I'll always consider this VN my love letter to Sans and to Undertale. And it means so much that the emotions I poured into this have been felt, even just a little. (Regarding the "The End" screen, I'm glad to hear that you did that. I wanted the player to feel compelled to linger in the world just a little longer before having to close it.) The Secret Route does require a RESET. But, of course, I will leave that up to you. :) The fact that you don't want to put Sans through anything means the writing did its job. Thank you so much for playing! And thank you for taking the time to leave a comment!
Playing through this game, I felt teleported back to my 2016 Undertale phase. This game reignited my love for Sans and made my urge to read Sans x Reader stories again extremely strong. I've played through both the True Love and the True LOVE routes and LOVED the writing. It felt nostalgic, in an odd way, while still being unique when compared to Sans x Reader fanfics. I fully plan to get the Secret Ending after I properly reset everything and can't wait to see it. I almost wish this game had more content, as there aren't many Undertale Dating Sims in general, but at the same time, it's the perfect length just the way it is. Thank you so much for such an amazing game!
I'm glad that it reignited that for you and that you liked the writing! I really tried to keep the Undertale feeling, while still putting my own writing flair into it. I wanted the visual novel to have just a hint of a fairytale feeling. I hope you enjoy the Secret Ending, as well! Thank you for playing and for taking the time to leave a comment!
Sooo it was a really awesome game! I couldn't get to download it at my pc because of some reasons...but I still manage to play it at my cousin pc :)..It was so touching..Anyway back to my questions..
What I want to ask is..Did something going to happend\change if we changed our name when we try to play 'ACT 2'?
Like for example we put our name [Example Lily] in the first run and then we decided to play 'ACT 2' and the game was actually do give us a option to change our name [Example Blood]..And well maybe you get what I meant...
(In case you dont get it..
we put our name first..and we complete the 'true love' route and we all know sans could remember every reset and changes [same as flowey]..
So when we play 'ACT 2' and changed our name and then any of the character ask about our name we said that our name is our second name..
Doesn't that make sans or flowey think that 'us' wasn'actually 'us'?)
I'm glad you enjoyed and found it touching! Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you managed to play it, despite the trouble! :)
!! SPOILERS !!
So the only person that knows that you changed your name is actually Flowey. He will comment on it and ask why you changed your name. He'll even make a callback to whatever the first name you picked was. But he still knows (or believes) that it's the same person playing.
And the same goes with Sans. Even if you change your name, he still knows that it's you. His SOUL is connected to yours as your SOULmate. And that connection is unique. So having a different name won't make a difference for him.
Does that mean Sans know that we changed our name? And will he mentions it too in one of his dialouge?
Also is there an options in well when the game ask us about our trait of soul..is there a secret options where you could say that you 'SOULless'? Or that the only opions they gived?
(And you maybe be wondering...why would I ask such a question? well my imaginations is like turn on right now..and with this question I was like 'Hey you know what would be funny? that Sans managed to make you his SOULmate even thoughtyou were SOULless!)
No need to be sorry! I'm happy you're interested in the storyline! :D I'll try to answer all your questions here:
As long as you credit me and link back to this game, then you can use the storyline for your AU.
Also, no. Sans does not know that the player changed their name. Only Flowey knows and will mention it.
There is not a SOUL-less option. Only the six traits are the possible options.
You don't need to buy WinZip to unzip the game. Normally on Windows, you're able to unzip it by right-clicking on the zipped folder and selecting "Extract All..."
Make sure "Show extracted files when complete" is checked, then click "Extract."
The characterization of all the characters is spot on and I found myself blushing and connecting to the undertale cast before me.
I liked Undertake when it first came out, but I was never a massive fan of it. Yet this piece of fan media has touched me and ignited a love for it I don't think I had before.
You made an adult person blush over a cartoon skeleton like I was 14 again reading my first lemon fanfiction. That takes skill.
The writing was wholesome and made me feel like I was coming home.. I love all of them and they are my friends and family.
SPOILER; READ NO FURTHER
I played through the genocide run and it broke me. I tried to play through to get the good ending again and found myself emotionally devastated when Chara made me kill Sans.
I suspected something bad would happen because of my decision to give my soul to Chara to reset the world, but I didn't know that the price would never being able to be with my love again; doomed to kill him again and again.
It made me wish dearly I could undo everything I had done. To make everything right again and never again stray from my SOULmate.
I almost cried when I realized even after deleting and re-downloading the entire game - my old save was still in play.
Thankfully, I found instructions here to get a clean slate- if I couldn't have found that, I might have been in a foul state of mind all day.
I plan to play through at least one more time to Sans the ending he deserves.
PS I also like how Sans seems to like the player regardless of what their true soul is.
Thank you, thank you so much for playing and for your words! It means so much to know the story had that effect! If I'm being honest, I really just poured my emotions over the page in hopes that even a drop of it would be felt.
!!! SPOILERS
I think the genocide/True LOVE route was one of the most difficult things about making this. I wanted to make sure that it was satisfying and heartbreaking the first time around to those that were curious enough. But at the same time, I needed to make it so that each repetition of a scene made it lose its impact. And the consequences it would have in a reattempt at the good ending/True Love... that was one of the first things I had planned from the very first brainstorm session for the VN. And I'm glad that the route and its consequences had that effect on you. But I'm also glad you were able to get a clean slate. :)
Also, I wanted to make sure that all the SOUL colors had their bits of flavor (color changes, the description of the SOUL). But I didn't want that to impact how Sans saw the player. I wanted Sans to feel connected to the player no matter what their SOUL was. Kind of like "I love you for you" but without needing to say those exact words.
Thank you again for taking the time to comment and for playing. I'm glad the VN warmed your heart with love.
I have played this game when it came out, and i just finished the papyrus game and i couldnt stop blushing! your writing and ideas are wonderful ! i really hope you dont stop making these cause they are AMAZING
Thank you so much for playing both Dating Start! and Hold the Awkward! I'm glad you enjoyed both VNs! And I certainly plan to make more VNs in the future (both Undertale and originals)!
AAAA Awesome! i really cant wait, i really suggest diving into the AUs but other than that ANYTHING you make is wonderful and unique and really feels like a true experience , thank you for everything!
This game is absolutely remarkable. I really can't say enough good things about your writing: the humor, the character voices, how sweet and gentle the romance is, how absolutely heartbreakingly palpable the moments of pining and withdrawal are. I know another commenter mentioned it, but yes, that moment where you're seeing your own soul, and Sans sees it too, the sort of breathelssness and wonder... you nailed it. This is a beautiful game. Thank you so much for making it and sharing it.
The painful part is knowing that the True LOVE route exists and wanting to know what you wrote for it because you're a great writer and I want to see what you imagined, while absolutely not having the heart to actually play through it, hahahaha. Just like in Undertale, you've made me too invested in the narrative of the world to be willing to satisfy my curiosity by hurting people, even if they're fictional. :')
Thank you so much for playing and for commenting! I'm glad you enjoyed the writing! I honestly just poured my emotions onto the page and hoped that others would feel even a drop of what I felt. And I'm glad that you have that hesitation to play through True LOVE! It means that the VN did its job. :)
Writing the romance and the moments... I needed it to be a dance. There needed to be moments of pause and reflection... and moments of whirlwind emotions that swept players into the world. And I'm glad you thought I captured the silent wonder of the SOUL scene. It was one of my favorite scenes to write. I wanted both the player and Sans to share the same sense of wonder of seeing the player's SOUL vulnerable for the first time.
Thank you again for playing and for taking the time to comment! I appreciate the words more than you know.
"I needed it to be a dance. There needed to be moments of pause and reflection... and moments of whirlwind emotions that swept players into the world."
You absolutely accomplished this. As a writer myself, I can see the care that went into creating that vision, and as a player, I felt it.
Also -- I ended up admiring your writing so much that I wanted to know your thoughts and choices for the True LOVE route just THAT badly, so... jakl;sdff;kasd I did end up deciding to play it. I'm glad I did, because even though it was gut-wrenching, I got to see what you, as a creator, envisioned, and I think you did a great job. Hopefully this doesn't sound too creepy, but I wanted to know your thoughts and feelings about both the story that you've created, and about Sans's story and the central themes of UT more broadly. In other words, I was wondering, "What is this creator's lens on the more painful aspects of UT itself? How will the personal impact that UT had on her be 'translated' and constructed into this story and game? What choices as a writer and game developer will she make to reach the players?" I was so moved by the parts of the game I had played that, well... I'm going to sound like a broken record, but I really wanted to know!
So I had to separate myself out from being "in" the game as the character, which is a shady thing to do, if we follow the game's internal logic. I tend to really buy into a world as it's presented if I find it compelling, so the stress that Undertale's, I guess we could call them "metaphysics," puts on my moral core is what keeps me from ever being able to play anything but pure pacifist in UT proper (although I've read extensively about the parts of the game I didn't explore and one could call that cheating;;;; Flowey certainly would). But... I wanted to know what you had created strongly enough to erect that mental division, and it allowed me to appreciate something you put a lot of time into thinking about and creating. What you did with the True LOVE route is very evocative and meaningful, intimate to your specific game but also relaying a clear love and respect for Undertale's vision itself, at least as far as I understand it without being in Toby Fox's head. Also? I think the way you did the Sans battle was very clever and well-executed. Just wanted to mention that specifically because it stands out so much in terms of mechanics.
Anyway, thank you so much for creating and sharing this. It really is a wonderful work.
Thank you for playing! I'm glad that you're satisfied with the True Love ending! I wanted True Love to be able to stand on its own, without a need for True LOVE. However, I also wanted to tempt players with the fact it DOES exist.
I'm glad you think it was well developed! I tried my best to capture that Undertale feeling. But, of course, I had to put my own spin on it as well!
[Comment may contain spoilers, read at your own risk]
:3 I love it, its a great game with awesome writing! Made me cry at one point but I'm pretty sure i got the True Love ending. Now i cant bring myself to play anymore to see the Secret Route Ending, Since I'm somewhat suspicious & weird, I don't want to take away the monsters & Pc insert's happy ending by resetting.
I don't personally want to ever see the True LOVE (No Love) ending and so I was pretty shocked when the Pc insert woke up with a knife during my second play-through. At my core I'm a soul of kindness though i do have other traits that fit me as well.
I only did three play-through runs and one of those was a caused by a load. After loading up and playing the first time which resulted in no ending [I think anyways] I reset, second play-through resulted in a desktop crash (a scripted one) which I had to used a load, and final play-through is where i got the True Love ending.
This more of personal thing for myself so take it with a grain of salt as a con but I wish the Pc insert could ask for permission before kissing Sans.
Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad to hear that you loved the VN! And I'm glad that the emotions reached you! It does sound like you completed True Love, yes. ^^ I don't blame you for not wanting to see True LOVE. Thankfully, that means that you and Sans can stay in True Love and live happily ever after. :) And I totally understand where you're coming from regarding the kisses, but I'm glad you enjoyed the VN all the same!
hey!! i just had to drop by and say that i finished this game just a few minutes ago and honestly i'm??? SO impressed by it as a whole?
the writing is fantastic, almost comparable to the original game and the emotions i felt while playing this reminded me of the original game so much as well. i feel like, even without the main story/dating mechanic, you were able to portray Undertale at its core so well? if that makes sense?? probably not ahah--
but in the dating mechanic/storyline itself! the emotions were there, and palpable and it was beautiful somehow, just. how you portrayed everything!! i love how Sans is characterized and the relationship we build with him through the resets feels so personal and genuine. i'm not sure i could go back and do it all again because of that very reason, as much as i might want to :'D i think i just, love him too much and. like obviously it's just a game, but the way you write him makes him feel real somehow, just like the original game did. it'd break my heart to rip it away and make him go through all that again, even if it's fictional, honestly-- :'D that's how you know you made something truly worth experiencing and visceral, and i commend you so much for it!
i can tell you put SO much love and care into this project and, i love it so much. not only did it remind me of the original game but it somehow felt like i was playing the original game itself. a lot of the feelings i have for Undertale came back through this, and took me back in a way as to why i love it so much. this made my heart so happy to play and honestly i wish i could relive it again and again, it was amazing. i'm a little sad it's over but i'm very happy i got to experience it for what it is!
thank you so, so much for this gem of an UT fangame <333
Thank you so much for playing it! And I'm so glad the feelings were palpable! This truly is my love letter to this world and to these characters, especially Sans. And to know that the emotions of that letter reached so many people, that's honestly more than I could ever ask for.
I'm glad you liked my characterization of Sans! I honestly wanted the relationship to feel personal to the point where the hidden emotions burst into life! And knowing that you have that hesitation to reset.... it means I did my job as a writer and a VN dev. We're always sad it's over, but we can always bring these characters with us. :)
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your thoughts. Stay determined.
I don't remember writing a comment about this game when i played it, but i don't mind write again about how i absolutely adore it, love it, fond of it, it gave me many many emotions and i SO cried because of it, man, i wish there was more games like "DATING START!", because i frikin LOVE that kind of games, even laying aside the romance stuff (which btw was soooooo idk how to even say this aside from "i loved it so much") the writing was just wooooooooo man it gave me the feels
vvvvv Maybe a minor spoiler?????? vvvvvvv
Also, how can i get a "better conversation", as Sans implied? or is it really just a little trolling on perfectionist players? :D
I think I remember you commenting before!! But I definitely appreciate you commenting again! It really does mean a lot that you enjoyed the VN so much!! ^^
!! Spoilers, just in case :)
Ah it seems you caught me red-handed LOL That is, indeed, a little trolling on the perfectionist/completionist players! All in good fun, of course! :D

Thank you for giving a screenshot! This helps me with troubleshooting. I think I need to double check my code and release a new version of the game. This might take me two days to fix. I'll reply back when a new version of the game is available with the fix.
Thanks you so much !!! Youre the best !!!
I've uploaded the new version of the game! (v1.0.3). You'll need to redownload it. Unfortunately, you will have to play the whole game again. But the bug should be fixed!
Make sure to delete the old game and unzip the new game!
ITS WORKING THANKS YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE THE BEST !!!!!💜💜💜
Hello! I wanted to tell the maker of this game, how much I appreciated it.
I already know that the creator only has the reset tutorial for windows.
So I wanted to ask the possible comment readers could help me with a full reset on Mac.
I would appreciate it!
Thank you in advance :)
Hi there! Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! These are all the instructions I have for Mac, but I don't have screenshots to go with it I'm sorry! I hope maybe this might help!
https://itch.io/post/3390388
It worked!
Thank you :)
I can feel you put your heart into this project and while doing that you also sticked to the source-material and did not make any non-cannon scene into this game, for example I don't know where but I heard this "Super secret codeword" somewhere, like probably it's in the original game I don't really remember tbh it's been a while but I remember that talk with Sans and the fact that you used it in this VN is amazing, I hope to see more works from you in the future, and while I'm waiting I will play through all the other VNs you have on your page <3
this game woke up my love for undertale after soo long. great game!!
No words. This is the best thing ever invented. This got me back into Undertale after years and i will forever cherish this
Thank you for this amazing game!
Wow, this was just- wow. It was funny and entertaining and it made me blush. I was giggling like a school girl the entire time. It was so adorable.
Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thank ewe so much for this game!
Stay determined,
Cho (DerpyChoCho)
just started playing this game in honor of sans winning the tumblr sexyman contest and finally killing the queen lmao
cant wait >:)
LOL what a great way to celebrate! Thank you so much for playing! I hope you enjoyed the VN! ^^
YW Thank you for the game!
i really want to play this but the download link for mac isnt working? its saying it cant read its properties.
I'll try to troubleshoot, though I don't have a Mac. May I have a screenshot of the error you're getting? Are you downloading this on the itch.io app or via the itch.io website itself?
im downloading it through the itchio app!
Thank you for clarifying! I believe the visual novel is actually incompatible on the itch.io app. Can you try downloading it via the actual itch.io website and launching the file that way?
Hi! I hope you're having a good day. I was trying to download the game on linux software but it gives me an error when I try to download it.
Hi! I'm sorry to hear that. I don't have a Linux PC, but I'll try my best to troubleshoot! What exactly is the error you're getting? Do you have a screenshot of it?
it tells me theres an error with the build?
This looks like it's via the itch.io app, correct? Can you try downloading the VN via the itch.io website instead and launching that file? I'm not sure if the VN is compatible on the itch.io app.
Ah thank you! It works now :)
I'm glad! I hope you enjoy the VN! Thank you for playing!
I'm glad the game made you happy and that you enjoyed it! It always means so much to know what other people think. Thank you for playing!
EDIT: Nevermind I got it :))
I'm glad you enjoyed it and that the emotions reached you! Thank you so so much for playing! ^^ Hoping to make more VNs in the future!
Hii, I was wondering if you know how to delete all previous data and begin from a new slate but on a Mac? I've tried just deleting them from my files and the bin, but it still keeps my old data. Btw I've played both of your games and have really adored them 🥺
Nevermind! HAHA, I found your instructions for Mac! Thanks so much.
I'm glad you were able to find the instructions! And thank you so much for playing my VNs! I'm really glad you enjoyed them!! ^^
Could you tell me where they are?
Ok so I played this game a long, long time ago, made genocide route and all, but I REALLY want to replay it from scratch, is there any way to detele all my saves from previous routes? ;-;
I have the updated instructions for a clean slate here: https://itch.io/post/2792964
Omg thank you so so much!!
Oh thanks for the info!
And also I wanted your permission to use your storyline to make an Undertale AU!
But the storyline will be changed by the way my oc past story is though...But I will credit you for inspiring me for this AU!
Soo what do you think will you give me the permission to use your work/storyline for this AU?
(Do Not Worry I Will Credit You As The Original Content Creator Of This Work/Storyline!)
:D
And also one last question (maybe- :v)
Does that mean Sans know that we changed our name? And will he mentions it too in one of his dialouge?
Also is there an options in well when the game ask us about our trait of soul..is there a secret options where you could say that you 'SOULless'? Or that the only opions they gived?
(And you maybe be wondering...why would I ask such a question? well my imaginations is like turn on right now..and with this question I was like 'Hey you know what would be funny? that Sans managed to make you his SOULmate even thoughtyou were SOULless!)
And one last question...(Sorry :b)
Did I need to buy 'winzip' to unzip this game?
because thats what it keep telling me to do...
And if it didnt need or need to..could you show me how?
I have a twitter account soo..maybe you could show me there?
Here is my twitter - @TEHCUP161010
No need to be sorry! I'm happy you're interested in the storyline! :D I'll try to answer all your questions here:
Make sure "Show extracted files when complete" is checked, then click "Extract."
your wrong about only love sans I am right now dating papyrus....
This game is a well crafted masterpiece.
Thank you so much for commenting!

When I played this game I was crying really bad I LOVE THIS GAME!
Ahhhh I'm so glad the emotions reached you! Thank you for playing! :D
And Thank You For making this game! :D
